World of Warcraft: Forever is Blizzard’s new permanent, Classic-inspired game alongside Retail and Classic. It returns to the original continents with a level-60 cap, but it is not simply another unchanged Classic Era realm.

Blizzard has announced November 4, 2026 as the WoW Forever launch date. Its beta began on September 17, 2026. Those are different milestones: beta access is not the live launch.

WoW Forever uses a realmless system organized around rulesets rather than a traditional realm choice. Blizzard lists Normal, PvP, and Roleplaying rulesets; Hardcore is planned after launch, not as a confirmed launch-day option.

Opt in for a chance to be invited, or use a qualifying bundle that includes beta access. An ordinary WoW subscription is not a guaranteed beta invitation.

Blizzard says WoW Forever access is included with a WoW subscription or game time. An optional digital bundle is not required for base access at the announced November 4, 2026 launch.
