Open /macro, create a macro and put it on a bound action-bar button. These examples were source-reviewed, not tested in-game by MythicDrake. Commands stay unchanged; spell names below are for the English game client. For another client language, replace each spell name with its exact spellbook name, not a literal translation. You must know the spell and have any required talent. Native Mouseover Cast or Click Casting may already meet your needs.

Conditions choose the first matching target, not the first successful cast. An out-of-range focus does not retry your target. Cursor casts skip the placement click; hold Alt on our ground macros to keep the aiming reticle. Precise raid placements may be safer with a reticle. We intentionally omit /stopcasting and combined immunity-cancel buttons: they can interrupt your cast or remove protection.

Macros do not choose spells intelligently by cooldown, buffs or lowest health, and do not bypass the global cooldown. During encounters, macro chat outside group channels is restricted; group messages require everyone inside the instance and are rate-limited. Whispers require the recipient inside and are rate-limited. Rapid marking of more than three units is restricted. This collection avoids chat spam, automatic marking and rotation sequences.
