Ula'tek

The great shame of the Amani empire. The vast complex of Atal'Utek was created to imprison the weapon that proved to be as much of a threat as the enemy she was intended to destroy. Ula'tek has risen from her ancient slumber and threatens all of Azeroth if she should escape.

Overview

Ula'tek splashes venom across her platform with Caustic Waves. Any Blightscale Spawn that touch her venom hatches and covers players in a Putrid Membrane. While her slithering children continue to spawn, Ula'tek uses her Spectral Coils to shatter the space. After Ula'tek rails against her prison with Rage of the Shackled she summons her faithful then dives beneath the venom to gather her strength. Ula'tek's Doomscale Wardens move between the Blightscale Spawn imbuing them with Writhing Gestation as the Doomscale Eggs begin to hatch. With her progeny broken, Ula'tek shatters the arena. She continues to use Call of the Serpent to gather her forces while destroying the only safe spaces remaining with Circling Prey.

Healers

• Every Blightscale Viper hatched inflicts Putrid Membrane to all players. • Spectral Coils inflicts damage to everyone that is reduced by the number of players at the impact location.

Tank

• Ula'tek uses Unchecked Rage while not engaged in melee combat. • Ula'tek's Gore Rattle uses Rattler Slam while not engaged in melee combat. •Mother's Wrath inflicts damage to everyone while no one is in its area of effect.

Blightscale Spawn

The endless spawn of Ula'tek. These eggs go through rapid gestation and hatch whenever they come into contact with the venom that fills Ula'tek's prison.

Malignant Shell

Ula'tek's eggs are covered in a viscous shell that sticks to players who touch them, inflicting 100009 Nature damage every 1 sec while attached.

Putrid Membrane

When Ula'tek's eggs hatch a Blightscale Viper, they spray a membrane over all players that inflicts 33336 Nature damage every 1 sec for 30 sec.

Blightscale Rawling

Broken from their shells early, the Blightscale Rawling struggles to survive.

Blightscale Viper

Fully gestated, the Blightscale Viper is a lethal predator.

Acidic Burst

The viper spits at a random player, inflicting 375033 Nature damage on impact and an additional 58338 Nature damage every 1 sec for 18 sec.

Stage One: Fury of the Serpent Mother

Caustic Waves

Ula'tek sends waves of venom across the platform, inflicting 917189 Nature damage on impact and an additional 540199 Nature damage every 1 sec for 10 sec to players in their path. This effect stacks. Waves that connect with Ula'tek's eggs cause them to instantly hatch.

Call of the Serpent

Ula'tek roars, causing her spawn to fall from the ceiling and inflict 916747 Nature damage to players within 4 yards of their impact locations.

Mother's Wrath

Ula'tek knocks back her current target, marking them for wrath, inflicting 791743 Nature damage every 0.3 sec for 3 sec while within reach of her attack. Each bite injects Ula'tek's target with Stone Venom and leaves them Hobbled. If her current target is outside her reach, Ula'tek inflicts these effects on all players.

Stone Venom

Ula'tek's venom inflicts 21252 Nature damage every 1 sec for 1.7 min. This effect stacks.

Hobbled

Ula'tek hobbles her current target, reducing their movement speed by 55% for 1 min.

Gore Rattle

Rattler Slam

While not in melee combat, Ula'tek's tail slams the platform, inflicting 917106 Nature damage to all players.

Mephitic Thrash

Ula'tek's tail sweeps the ground, inflicting 750506 Nature damage to players within 35 yards and knocking them back. In addition, players outside 35 yards are inflicted with 625055 Nature damage and an additional 200018 Nature damage every 2 sec for 10 sec.

Spectral Coils

Ula'tek's Spectral Coils rise above the platform and crush anything beneath them, inflicting 733398 Nature damage to all players. This damage is reduced by the number of players within 10 yards of the impact location.

Necrotic Vapors

As Ula'tek disturbs the pool, Necrotic Vapors fill the room, inflicting 54171 Nature damage every 1 sec to all players. This effect stacks.

Ula'tek's Doomscale Eggs are covered in a viscous shell that sticks to players that touch them, inflicting 100009 Nature damage every 2 sec while it is attached. After picked up, the beast within hatches after 20 sec.

Ravenous Doomscale

Dread Roar

The Ravenous Doomscale roars, inflicting 791736 Nature damage every 1 sec and stunning all players for 20 sec.

Defect: Weakened

Disrupting the Ravenous Doomscale's gestation weakens it, increasing all its damage taken by 100%. In this weakened state, the beast also cannot use Dread Roar.

Anguished Cry

The Weakened Doomscale screams in agony, inflicting 541714 Nature damage to players within 60 yards and stuns them for 6 sec.

Desperate Thrash

The Weakened Doomscale thrashes, inflicting 542001 Nature damage on impact and an additional 58300 Nature damage every 1 sec to players within the cone for 6 sec.

Doomscale Warden

Grasping Fangs

The Doomscale Warden sinks fangs into random players, inflicting 204185 Nature damage every 2 sec and reduces their movement speed by 45% while the Grasping Fangs are unbroken. Snapping the fang inflicts Blight Vein.

Blight Vein

Blight Vein is injected into the player on the removal of Grasping Fangs, inflicting 291692 Nature damage every 2 sec for 8 sec.

Warden's Protection

The Doomscale Warden's life force coils around the eggs, inflicting 58338 Nature damage every 1 sec to players within 7 yards and forbidding all touch while the warden draws breath.

Malice

The Doomscale Warden unleashes malice, inflicting 792001 Nature damage to all players every 1 sec for 6 sec.

Shadow Molt

The Doomscale Warden sheds its shadow skin and slithers to a new destination.

Writhing Gestation

The Doomscale Warden transforms nearby Blightscale Spawn into a Blightscale Clutch that hatches after 20 sec.

Doomscale Cauldron

A hissing cauldron of corrosive venom ready to devour any offering thrown into its depths.

Blightscale Clutch

Ula'tek's spawn within the clutch grow in power during Writhing Gestation while it remains unbroken.

Ula'tek roars, shaking her children from the ceiling and causing them to fall.

Blightscale Clutch

Ula'tek's spawn within the clutch grow in power during Writhing Gestation while it remains unbroken.

Blightscale Rawling

Broken from their shells early, the Blightscale Rawling struggles to survive. On Heroic difficulty, Venomous Birthlings cast Poisonous Bite on players.

Blightscale Viper

Fully gestated, the Blightscale Viper is a lethal predator.

Vicious Echoes

The Blightscale Shrieker screams, inflicting 625055 Nature damage to players and an additional 133345 Nature damage every 1 sec and stunning them for 6 sec.

Serpent's Bite

Ula'tek shoots fangs into several players, applying a venom that inflicts 416703 Nature damage on impact and an additional 100009 Nature damage every 1 sec for 15 sec. Upon expiration, the player is turned into a Calcified Corpse. Players within 7 yards may leech the venom to remove it but become infected with Volatile Purge.

Calcified Corpse

Ula'tek's venom turns the player to stone, stunning them and inflicting 1000088 Nature damage every 1 sec. This effect pierces immunities.

Volatile Purge

Players that leech Serpent's Bite purge their venom after 5 sec. On expiration, the poison erupts from the affected players, inflicting 626796 Nature damage on impact and an additional 100009 Nature damage every 1 sec for 18 sec to players near the purge. This effect stacks. In addition, Volatile Purge increases damage taken from Deadly Venom by 200%.
