This interface is designed around a safe cached pipeline: collect a limited sample of highly ranked players with accessible Battle.net profiles, aggregate repeated items, gems, enchants, talents, races, and stats, then serve a static snapshot to users. That avoids hammering Battle.net or Raider.IO from page traffic.

How often should this update?

The production cadence is every two days through a GitHub Actions snapshot refresh, not live per-user API calls.
