The Lost Explorers

A band of tortollans, possessed by spirits, have come to their senses near the sarcophagus of an ancient Soulcoiler. Trapped in the vault, they seek ancient artifacts to protect themselves from further possession by vengeful spirits.

Overview

Mor'zahi uses Dark Whispers to gain control over a group of tortollan explorers he has lured into the temple. If his control over them is broken, Mor'zahi casts Mor'zahi's Command, expending all of his energy to reassert control and grant the target additional abilities. Mor'zahi inflicts deadly damage if he is allowed to finish casting Final Ascension. Mor'zahi's concentration can be broken if a tortollan he is controlling consumes a Disgusting Fish.

Damage Dealers

• Frost and Fire patches left behind by Frostfire Volley can be removed by the opposing elemental effects of Burning Flames and Piercing Frost. • Mighty Thud inflicts very high damage to all players. Each impact inflicts damage split evenly between players directly hit. • Trader Gebbo's Explosive Surprise triggers Blast Wave, which can be avoided using the mushrooms from Mushroom Toss.

Healers

• Blink Nova inflicts high damage to all players. Players farther from Scrollsage Iku's target receive less damage. • Icebound Flames inflicts high damage to a player if Scrollsage Iku is not interrupted, but the lingering effects can be dispelled. • Splinters inflicts damage over time to any players who stomp on crates thrown by Trader Gebbo.

Tanks

• Shredding Shards from Scrollsage Iku inflicts high magic damage and vulnerability to this effect to the current target. • First Mate Nama's attacks against his current target gain increasing Physical damage from Steady Strikes. • First Mate Nama grants United Defense to the tortollan explorers when Scrollsage Iku and Trader Gebbo are both near him.

Mor'zahi

Dark Whispers

Mor'zahi's dark whispers compel the target to follow his commands.

Mor'zahi's Command

Mor'zahi violently retakes control of his target, granting them additional abilities.

Evil Eyes

The statues within the chamber project spirit flames at players, inflicting 416703 Shadow damage to players within 3 yds of the impact locations.

Malevolent Presence

Mor'zahi glows with ancient power, inflicting 83341 Shadow damage every 2 sec to all players.

Fishy Feedback

Mor'zahi Inflicts 666725 Shadow damage and 83341 Shadow damage every 2 sec for 12 sec to all players as his concentration is broken.

Final Ascension

Mor'zahi gathers power slowly for his final ascension. Upon channeling, he inflicts 208352 Shadow damage every 1 sec to all players.

Trader Gebbo

Throw Junk

While under the effects of Mor'zahi's Command, Trader Gebbo throws crates from his inventory which inflict 1000088 Physical damage to players within 3 yds of their impact locations. Stepping on a crate breaks it, inflicting Splinters.

Disgusting Fish

A fish found within one of Trader Gebbo's boxes. Tossing it to a possessed tortollan interrupts Mor'zahi and causes him to repossess them with Mor'zahi's Command.

Splinters

Stomping on crates of junk causes the player to bleed for 91675 Physical damage every 1 sec for 8 sec. This effect stacks.

Relic Rupture

The relic within the crate ruptures with necrotic energy if left untouched after 25 sec, inflicting 2500220 Shadow damage to all players.

Mushroom Toss

Trader Gebbo tosses Bouncy Mushrooms at players' locations. Bouncy Mushrooms bounce players high into the air when touched.

Bouncy Mushroom

Jumping on a Bouncy Mushroom will bounce a player high into the air but will perturb the mushroom, triggering Fungal Burst soon after.

Bounce

A Bouncy Mushroom bounces a player high into the air.

Fungal Burst

A perturbed mushroom bursts after a short delay, inflicting 416714 Nature damage to players within 5 yds.

Explosive Surprise

Trader Gebbo tosses a bomb to the location of a player which inflicts 833407 Physical damage to players within 10 yds on impact.

Concussive Blast

The Concussion Bomb explodes, inflicting 416703 Fire damage and knocking back players within 10 yds. Players affected suffer 83341 Fire damage every 1 sec for 12 sec.

Blast Wave

A shockwave from an Explosive Bomb inflicts 7500660 Fire damage and 250022 Fire damage every 1 sec for 10 sec to players it contacts.

Smashing Shovel

When one of his allies is defeated, Trader Gebbo wields a shovel which inflicts an additional 416703 Physical damage and knocks players back with each strike.

Scrollsage Iku

Frostfire Volley

While under the effects of Mor'zahi's Command, Scrollsage Iku unleashes a volley of elemental missiles at several targets, inflicting 125011 Fire or Frost damage to players within 10 yds of the targets and afflicting them with Burning Flames or Piercing Frost. Each missile leaves behind a patch of elemental ground at its impact location. These impacts trigger Elemental Explosion if they strike any player afflicted by Burning Flames or Piercing Frost.

Elemental Explosion

The volatile elemental interaction inflicts 1166769 Frostfire damage to all players.

Burning Flames

Inflicts 166681 Fire damage every 1 sec for 1 min or until cancelled by a Frost effect.

Fire Patch

Inflicts 125015 Fire damage every 1 sec to players within 5 yds. Frost effects will dissipate this patch.

Piercing Frost

Inflicts 108343 Frost damage every 1 sec and reduces the target's movement speed by 60% for 1 min or until cancelled by a Fire effect.

Frost Patch

Inflicts 125011 Frost damage every 1 sec to players within 5 yds. Fire effects will dissipate this effect.

Blink Nova

Scrollsage Iku gathers arcane power and teleports to the location of a player, inflicting 750066 Arcane damage to all players. Players farther from Scrollsage Iku's target receive less damage.

Icebound Flames

Scrollsage Iku blasts a player with elemental magic, inflicting 833407 Frostfire damage along with 166681 Frostfire damage every 1 sec while reducing their movement speed by 50% for 12 sec.

Shredding Shards

Scrollsage Iku projects a series of ice shards at her current target, inflicting 166685 Frost damage every 0.5 sec for 3.5 sec. Each shard increases the target's damage taken from Shredding Shards by 50% for 1.3 min.

Cataclysmic Invocation

When one of her allies is defeated, Scrollsage Iku unleashes a massive explosion, inflicting 1166769 Fire damage to all players. This damage increases with each cast.

First Mate Nama

Mighty Thud

While under the effects of Mor'zahi's Command, First Mate Nama marks three players then leaps to each of their locations. Each impact inflicts 5417143 Physical damage split evenly among players within 6 yds and knocks them back. If Mighty Thud fails to hit a player, it inflicts 5417143 Physical damage to all players.

Aftershock

Mighty Thud leaves behind quaking ground that inflicts 166681 Physical damage to players within 6 yds every 1 sec for until canceled.

Shell Spin

First Mate Nama hurls three spinning shells in a cone in front of him. The shells will stun players they come into contact with for 4 sec.

Steady Strikes

First Mate Nama gains 4% Physical damage to his current target with each attack, lasting 30 sec.

Relentless Escalation

When one of his allies is defeated, First Mate Nama gains 100% increased damage every 1 sec for 30 sec.

Spell descriptions use cached Retail reference values; damage changes with difficulty and key level. Loot eligibility can also depend on faction, profession or character requirements. A Voidcore level describes a successful eligible equipment roll, not a guaranteed specific item. Normal-dungeon scaling, outdoor bosses and non-equipment rewards do not have a universal Voidcore value.
