Merektha is the product of foul experiments to produce an army of unstoppable beasts. With her clutch of eggs beginning to hatch, this mother is on the hunt for victims to serve as food for her ravenous children.
Overview
Merektha emerges and attacks players with Thunder Spit and Serpentstorm. Occasionally, she sends out Knots of Snakes to constrict players. Merektha eventually Hatches snakes that attack players while she Burrows across the playspace.
Damage Dealers
•Hatch releases snakes that join the fight. •Toxic Viper's Poison Spit can be interrupted. •A Knot of Snakes stuns allies until destroyed or incapacitated.
Healers
•Serpentstorm inflicts significant damage to all players. •A Knot of Snakes damages allies while active. •Burrowquake damages the party while Merektha Burrows.

•Lightning Bite inflicts significant damage to Merektha's current target. •Storm Serpent's Storm Catalyst leaves Lingering Storm underneath the creature. •Hatch releases snakes that join the fight.

Merektha burrows through the ground, inflicting 290947 Nature damage to any players caught in her path. Victims are knocked up and stunned for 4 sec. A Burrowquake occurs while Merektha burrows.

While burrowing, Merektha causes the ground to violently tremble, inflicting 24246 Nature damage to all players every 1 sec.

A Knot of Snakes
Many small snakes wrap around the target, preventing any action and slowly suffocating the victim for 29095 Physical damage every 1 sec. Destroying or incapacitating the knot of snakes frees the victim, causing the clump to unravel and attack players.

Spell descriptions use cached Retail reference values; damage changes with difficulty and key level. Loot eligibility can also depend on faction, profession or character requirements. A Voidcore level describes a successful eligible equipment roll, not a guaranteed specific item. Normal-dungeon scaling, outdoor bosses and non-equipment rewards do not have a universal Voidcore value.
